ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science

An identity consolidation for four university groups

Two boys sitting on a porch in rural Australia

The Centre for Excellence in Exciton Science is a collaboration between Australian universities and international partners to research better ways to manipulate the way light energy is absorbed, transported and transformed in advanced molecular materials. The Centre approached Dialogic with a need in unifying the brand across their multiple partners at the University of NSW, University of Sydney, Monash University and the University of Melbourne.

Using their existing logo of an exciton particle, Dialogic created a set of guidelines that spoke to the structured and precise nature of their work while also speaking to the exciting and vibrant future that lies ahead in this field of research. We also created a set of presentation and scientific poster templates that helped their researchers create on-brand, effective and informational presentations that were simple to create yet effective in their communications.

The Gadigal People of the Eora Nation were some of the world’s very first designers. Their experience spans over 40,000 years and their expertise in graphic storytelling has never been surpassed. We acknowledge and pay respect to their work and to their Elders, past, present and future.

Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
